My first impression when taking the Flyknit Racer "Orange Slice" out of the box was... DANG. These were much brighter than shown in pictures online, and for me that's a good thing. These are the perfect summer shoes (even though summer is over halfway through). I own two other pairs of Racers so I knew what to expect when trying them on. These are one of the most comfortable shoes I own and are very lightweight. I did notice that on the newer version of the Flyknit series, Nike changed the shoelaces to a thicker lace compared to the older "ribbony" ones. I think this was because those didn't stay laced, but I never had the problem and personally prefer the old laces. All in all, I love these shoes and do not regret the purchase one bit.
